Why you’re missing out on a tasty vegan vegetable roll, vegetarian soup, and vegetarian sushi: Axios
Vegetarian soup and veggie roll sushi are great options for vegans, but they’re missing a few important ingredients.
Here’s why.1.
Garlic, chilli, and chili powder are missing in vegan versions of these two sushi rolls.
But, they’re not the problem.2.
The vegetable roll itself is lacking in essential oils, like the chilli.
If you can’t find chilli powder or garlic, you’ll miss out on the other two ingredients listed above.3.
While these rolls are tasty, they lack the texture and flavor of a real vegetable roll.
Vegans need to use their imagination and cook with their own ingredients.
If that means a tofu and soy sauce-based sauce instead of a vegan soy sauce, so be it.
If you’re looking for a tasty veggie-filled bowl of sushi, these vegan vegetable rolls are great for beginners.
For those who are already vegan, this vegetarian soup and vegan sushi recipe is also a great way to introduce them to the wonderful world of tofu.
